Meet Tobias!
Support Worker
Hello!
About Tobias
My biggest interest is sport, particularly basketball, where I am actively involved as both a player and a coach. This has given me a strong appreciation for teamwork, discipline, and leadership. I enjoy a mix of both outdoor and indoor activities, as I like to stay active while also making time to relax. In my downtime, I enjoy watching movies, whether that’s at home or at the cinema, and I also love travelling, both short trips and longer adventures, as it allows me to experience new places and cultures.
In terms of personality, I would describe myself as a balance of calm and energetic. I am a people person who enjoys connecting with others and building positive relationships. Through my experience working with both children and adults, I have developed strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to adapt to different individuals and situations.
I became a support worker because I genuinely wanted to help those in need. It was something I had been encouraged to pursue for years, as others recognised my natural ability to connect with and support people. Since entering the field, it has proven to be a very rewarding and fulfilling career path, and I feel confident that it was the right decision for me.
My approach to support is sincere, encouraging, and centred around building trust and confidence. Coming from a large family, I value connection, understanding, and looking out for others. I also bring strong team-building skills from my experience in sport, which I use to foster a sense of collaboration, motivation, and inclusion. I aim to support individuals in a way that empowers them to achieve their goals and feel confident in their everyday lives.
