Meet Tim!

Support Worker

Hello!

About Tim

I am a very active person who enjoys a wide range of sports and fitness activities. I have a strong passion for staying fit and healthy, and regularly engage in activities such as golf, AFL, triathlons, and tennis. Keeping active is an important part of my lifestyle, and I enjoy the physical and mental benefits it brings. Outside of sport, I love socialising, mentoring others, spending quality time with family, and travelling. These experiences allow me to connect with people, build relationships, and maintain a well-balanced and fulfilling life.

I would describe my personality as social, relaxed, and calm, with strong people skills and a high level of organisation. I am someone who naturally connects well with others and can adapt to different personalities and environments with ease. My calm and easygoing nature helps create a positive and comfortable atmosphere, while my organisational skills ensure reliability and consistency in everything I do.

After selling my business and retiring, I found myself in a fortunate position where I had the time and flexibility to give back to the community. This led me to pursue support work, where I could use my life experience and people skills to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. I find this work incredibly rewarding and value the opportunity to support individuals in a practical and genuine way.

My approach to support focuses on making people feel comfortable, relaxed, and confident in any setting. I aim to build trust and create a supportive environment where individuals feel at ease being themselves. I am passionate about helping people engage in the activities they enjoy and supporting them to live a life that is meaningful and aligned with their interests and goals.
