Meet Thanya!
Support Worker
Hello!
About Thanya
My personal interests and hobbies revolve around staying active and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. I regularly attend the gym and enjoy Pilates and weight training, which help me build strength, improve my wellbeing, and stay energised. I find that keeping physically active not only benefits my health but also supports a positive mindset and overall balance in my daily life.
I would describe my personality as energetic and motivated. I bring a positive attitude into everything I do and enjoy staying busy and engaged. My energy allows me to be proactive, reliable, and fully present when supporting others.
I became a support worker because I wanted to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. I recognised that many individuals need someone who is compassionate, reliable, and genuinely committed to their care. This inspired me to transition from my role as a pharmacist assistant into support work. Since making that change, I have found my work incredibly rewarding and truly love what I do.
My approach to support is person centred, meaning I focus on each individual’s unique needs, preferences, and goals. I believe in promoting independence, dignity, and choice, while providing the right level of support to help each person live a fulfilling and meaningful life.
