Meet Sharon!
Support Worker
Hello!
About Sharon
My personal interests revolve around staying connected, active, and enjoying the simple things in life. I value spending quality time with my family, going for walks to clear my mind, and catching up over a good coffee. I also enjoy the fun and challenge of training my energetic (and sometimes crazy!) Labrador, which keeps me active and brings a lot of joy and laughter into my daily routine.
I would describe my personality as being a great listener who is calm, kind, and compassionate. I take the time to truly understand others, offering support in a way that makes people feel heard, respected, and comfortable. My calm nature helps in challenging situations, while my kindness and compassion guide the way I connect and build meaningful relationships.
I became a support worker after working full time in a school for many years. During that time, I developed a strong passion for helping others and supporting people to reach their full potential. Moving into support work felt like a natural transition, giving me the opportunity to make a genuine difference in someone’s everyday life while also finding a deeper sense of purpose and job satisfaction in the work I do.
