Meet Sean!

Finance Officer

Hello!

About Sean

I work as a Finance Officer at Bridging Barriers, supporting the organisation with financial administration and day to day finance processes. My role helps ensure that services are managed accurately, responsibly, and in line with NDIS requirements.

I enjoy working in the disability sector because it allows me to be part of an organisation that supports people to access the services they need and improve their quality of life. I also have experience working with a plan management provider, which has given me a strong understanding of NDIS processes, participant funding, and the importance of clear and reliable financial support.

Qualifications

I hold a Bachelor of Teaching and a Bachelor of Mathematical Sciences with Honours. I also have an NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid training, and am a registered teacher. I am currently completing my PHD in ‘Novel mathematical approaches to detecting and quantifying atrial fibrillation’.
