Meet Reuben!
Support Worker
Hello!
About Reuben
I’m a very active and energetic person who loves playing sport, keeping fit, and staying busy. Sport has always been a big part of my life, and I am currently on the Adelaide SANFL Crows top-up list, which has helped me develop strong teamwork, communication, discipline, and leadership skills. I enjoy setting goals, challenging myself, and encouraging others to achieve their own goals, both on and off the field.
I would describe myself as outgoing, calm, approachable, and easy to talk to. I enjoy meeting new people and building genuine relationships based on trust, respect, and understanding. These qualities have helped me form strong connections with the people I support and create a positive, supportive environment where they feel comfortable and valued.
I became a support worker because I genuinely enjoy helping people and making a positive difference in their lives. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a client grow in confidence, develop new skills, and achieve goals that are important to them. I am passionate about supporting individuals to increase their independence, participate in their communities, and build meaningful friendships and social connections. My goal is to empower each person I support to live the life they choose while encouraging them to reach their full potential and enjoy new experiences.
Services Offered
I offer a range of support services tailored to each client’s needs, including domestic assistance such as cleaning, cooking, and general household tasks. I provide community access support, including transport to appointments, social outings, and activities. I also assist with communication and behavioural strategies, while offering genuine companionship, encouragement, and a positive, supportive environment
Qualifications
I hold current First Aid and CPR certification, along with a Working With Children Check (WWCC) and an NDIS Worker Screening Check / Police Check. I also have a current driver’s licence and reliable transport, allowing me to support clients with community access and appointments. I understand the importance of duty of care, confidentiality, professionalism, and providing safe, high-quality support.
