Meet Maureen!

Support Worker

Hello!

About Maureen

I have been dedicated to providing a compassionate and reliable service that enriches my clients' daily lives. Whether it's helping with household tasks like cooking, cleaning, and grocery shopping, offering emotional support, providing companionship, or assisting with transportation to medical appointments or social outings, my goal is to ensure that the client and their family feel more independent, cared for, and supported.

Outside of work, I'm happily married with two adult children. I enjoy spending my free time caravanning, reading, and exploring the outdoors through walking and hiking, especially in nature—whether it's through the hills or along the beach. I also love taking our puppy on long walks and engaging in fun games with her.

My passion for becoming a support worker stemmed from a desire to help others navigate their day-to-day lives with confidence and dignity. As a naturally empathetic and compassionate individual, I take pride in building meaningful, trusting relationships with those I support, always striving to listen, understand, and empower them.
