Meet Katia!

Support Worker

Hello!

About Katia

I’m a university student currently studying Pharmacy, with a strong passion for helping others live happy, healthy lives. Outside of study, I love reading, playing basketball, watching movies, cooking and going for walks.

I became a support worker because I’ve always loved helping others and wanted to make a real difference in people’s day to day lives. Seeing someone grow in confidence and recreating meaningful relationships incredibly rewarding. I’d describe myself as caring, kind, fun, and patient, and I genuinely enjoy connecting with people and creating a positive space where they feel comfortable and supported.

My approach to support is client centred and strengths based, I believe in working alongside individuals to help them reach their goals in a way that feels right for them. Everyone is unique, I try to provide support that respects their choices, builds confidence, and pushes for independence where possible!
