About Jamie

I have a strong passion for staying active and spending time outdoors, with interests including hiking, swimming, and running. I also enjoy cooking and learning about nutrition, as well as travelling and experiencing new places and cultures. Currently, I play SANFLW for North Adelaide, which reflects my commitment to teamwork, discipline, and maintaining an active lifestyle. I would describe myself as compassionate, supportive, positive, and patient, and I bring these qualities into all areas of my life, particularly in the way I work with others.

I became a support worker because I am deeply passionate about helping others and creating personalised care that has a meaningful and positive impact on people’s lives. What I value most about support work is the focus on each individual’s unique journey, and I feel genuinely grateful to be able to play a role in supporting that. My approach to support is grounded in compassion and kindness, with a strong emphasis on understanding each person’s unique needs and preferences. I strive to ensure that every individual feels respected, valued, and truly heard, while supporting them in a way that promotes independence, confidence, and overall wellbeing.
