About Hannah
I am currently studying Occupational Therapy at university, with the goal of building a career in the disability sector after graduation. Outside of work and study, I enjoy spending time at the beach, socialising with friends and family, and travelling whenever I get the chance. I have a soft spot for Thai food and can’t resist a good chocolate milk. I’m energetic, love a challenge, and always enjoy a meaningful chat.
I take a person centred approach, focusing on the unique needs, preferences, and goals of each individual. I aim to build trust and genuine connections, supporting clients with empathy, respect, and flexibility. Whether it's providing personal care, emotional support, or companionship, my goal is to enhance quality of life and promote independence in a way that feels meaningful and empowering for each person.
Experience
During this time, I have supported individuals with a wide range of disabilities, including intellectual and physical disabilities, as well as autism. My experience spans across various age groups, from young children to older adults. In addition to this role, I also work at an Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) program, where I support children aged 5 to 11. However, my primary focus remains on working with older clients in my support worker role.
