Meet Demi!
Chief Operating Officer
Hello!
About Demi
I am a calm, patient and active person who values trust, connection and integrity in everything I do. I come from a professional basketball background, which has shaped my strong work ethic, discipline and team focused mindset. As a mother of two, family is incredibly important to me and I love spending time with them whenever I can. I am always on the go and enjoy finding new experiences and adventures.
My personality is compassionate, conscientious, dedicated and driven. I am loyal, reliable, bubbly and outgoing, and I bring confidence, positivity and humour into my work. I believe genuine connection matters, I am always ready with a smile and strive to make people feel comfortable and supported.
I have worked in the disability sector for five years, starting as a Support Worker and progressing into an administrative leadership role as Chief Operating Officer. My experience on the ground has given me a deep understanding of participant needs, which I now carry into my leadership role.
As COO, I oversee the day to day operations of the organisation, ensuring our services are delivered efficiently, ethically and in line with our values. I support and mentor staff, oversee compliance and quality standards, manage operational systems and processes, and ensure participants receive safe, high quality supports.
I truly believe everyone deserves to be seen, heard and respected. Working in this field is a privilege, every shift, every interaction, is an opportunity to make someone’s life just that little bit better.
