About Chloe
I am a 22 year old country girl from Victoria who has moved to Adelaide to peruse a degree in Primary Education.
I am a very adventurous and bubbly personality but also patient and empathetic. I am very much a people person and I love exploring and trying new things and meeting new people.
I became a support worker as I have grew up around this environment and I have always been drawn to helping others, particularly those with disabilities. I am a firm believer in equity and striving to help others anyway I can.
I believe I adapt a person centred approach within my care. I prioritise the individual's needs, preferences, and goals. It's about listening to and supporting people, keeping them at the centre of decision making and planning, whilst integrating my strengths to support them.
Experience
I am studying to be a teacher and have experience working and supporting students with disabilities.
I have experience with clients with physical disabilities, intellectual, autism and psychosocial.
I have supported clients who require more specialised care. These include: PEG feeding and communication devices.
I have worked with: children, teens and adults.
