Meet Brandon!

Support Worker

Hello!

About Brandon

I am currently studying Bachelor of Education at flinders university with a focus on Health and Physical Education. I have a genuine passion for helping and guiding individuals in developing self-confidence, belief, autonomy, and engagement in meaningful activities.

I am an outgoing, active person who enjoys training, running, basketball and I love the outdoors (however, I also love down time and enjoy gaming). I love bringing positive energy into my work and practices by encouraging others around me to enhance their experiences throughout.

I would like to describe myself as a reliable, hardworking, and easy going individual with strong communication skills. I take pride in being able to develop positive relationships whilst creating a safe and supportive environment for individuals where they feel a sense of belonging and purpose.

My approach to support is dominantly based through person-centred factors. I tend to prioritise the individual’s choice and voice to ensure they have an experience that feels impactful and relevant to their interests in their lives. I take that extra time to understand what they enjoy, and what is important for them. Additionally, I thrive to guide and support people in making decisions that will benefit an individual in a positive manner that can allow them to maintain control over their everyday lives.

Overall, I aim to provide a service that displays a respectful, inclusive, and empowering environment, which encourages clients to feel safe confident and valued throughout their everyday life
