About Boh
I have two dogs who I enjoy taking to the river or the beach for a run, as it gives me a chance to unwind and stay active. In my spare time, I like catching up with friends, whether that’s going out for breakfast, playing a round of golf, or relaxing with a beer, as I value staying socially connected and maintaining a good balance between work and personal life. I see myself as a calm, respectful, and easygoing person who is always open to trying new things and bringing a positive, motivated energy into everything I do. I became a support worker because I genuinely enjoy seeing people grow and progress, regardless of their background or challenges, and I find it incredibly rewarding to be part of that journey. I also really value building meaningful connections and see this role as a great opportunity to meet new people and make a positive impact in their lives.
When it comes to work, I tend to start off a little quieter while I take the time to observe and understand each client’s personality, interests, and individual needs. I believe this approach helps me tailor my support in a way that is respectful and effective, allowing me to build trust and rapport naturally. As I become more familiar and comfortable, I bring more of my personality into the role, which helps strengthen connections and create a more positive and engaging environment. Overall, this approach allows me to provide consistent, thoughtful support and build strong, lasting relationships that make day-to-day activities and future progress easier for both myself and the client.
Experience
I have experience working in support roles providing person-centred care to individuals with a range of needs. My focus is on building positive relationships, supporting daily routines, and encouraging independence through a strengths based approach. I am adaptable in my work and able to adjust my support style to suit each person, ensuring they feel comfortable, respected, and supported in achieving their goals.
