About Anok
My personal interests include basketball, gaming, anime, going to the gym, and watching movies, which all play a big role in how I connect with others and build rapport. I would describe my personality as energetic, assertive, hardworking, and highly adaptable, allowing me to respond effectively to different environments and individual needs. I became a support worker because I genuinely enjoy helping people and making a positive difference in their lives; seeing someone happy, improving, or achieving even small goals brings me a great sense of fulfilment. My approach to support is centred around flexibility and understanding, as I believe in meeting people where they are and tailoring support to suit them. I take a strengths-based approach, focusing on what individuals can do and building on their abilities, and I have a particular interest in sports and athlete development, using these as tools to encourage confidence, engagement, and personal growth.
Experience
I have experience supporting individuals with a range of needs, focusing on building strong rapport and providing consistent, person-centred care. I work effectively in dynamic environments and adapt my approach to suit each individual, with a particular strength in using sports and physical activity to promote engagement, skill development, and overall wellbeing.
