About Amelie

In my spare time, I really enjoy getting outdoors and walking my two greyhounds, it’s something I find both relaxing and a great way to reset. I also place a big value on spending quality time with my partner, as well as catching up with family and friends whenever I can. Staying connected with the people around me is really important to me.

Professionally, my full time role is playing AFLW for Port Adelaide, where I’ve been for the past four years. I genuinely love being part of the club and the environment it provides. It’s given me the opportunity to grow not only as an athlete, but also as a person, and I take a lot of pride in representing the team and contributing both on and off the field.

I’d describe myself as calm, energetic, and caring. I enjoy supporting others and creating a positive environment, but I also like to keep things light-hearted and fun. I think having a good balance between being focused and being able to have a laugh is really important.

  • I have been working as a disability support worker for almost a year now. I work with two clients at the moment with one being a teenager who is blind and the other is an adult with Parkinson's.
