About Alannah

I am a proud mother of three who loves spending time outdoors. In my spare time, I enjoy drawing, going to the beach, taking long walks, and, when I get the chance, riding my longboard. Being outside helps me feel grounded and energised.

I would describe myself as calm, optimistic, and approachable. I always try to see the positive side of situations and bring that mindset into both my personal and professional life.

Before entering the disability sector, I worked at a credit union for two years. During that time, I built strong relationships with many regular customers, including individuals who accessed supports. Through these connections, I realised how much I valued the personal interactions and meaningful relationships I was forming. That experience made me recognise that I wanted to be on the other side of the counter supporting people more directly and making a greater impact in their day to day lives which led me into support work.
