About Chantel
I am deeply passionate about supporting people to live as independently and confidently as possible, and I take great pride in building genuine, meaningful connections with those I work alongside. I approach my role with empathy, patience, and a strong commitment to ensuring that each person feels heard, respected, and empowered in their day to day life.
I strive to understand individual needs, preferences, and goals, and work collaboratively to create a supportive environment that promotes choice, dignity, and personal growth. I value consistency and reliability in my approach, and aim to be someone people can trust and feel comfortable around.
Outside of my professional role, I enjoy maintaining an active and balanced lifestyle. I love spending time outdoors, whether that’s going for walks, being by the beach, or engaging in recreational activities that promote wellbeing. I have a strong passion for sport, having played netball for many years, which has helped me develop teamwork, discipline, and resilience, and I now enjoy playing football as a way to stay active and social.
I also have a love for cooking and enjoy experimenting in the kitchen, trying new recipes and creating meals to share with others. Spending time with friends and family is very important to me, as I value connection and support in my own life, which further strengthens my ability to provide warm, person centred care to others.
